Franklin House – A Community-Based Residential Facility

Franklin House is an 8-bed, 7,410-square-foot, Wisconsin DHS-licensed Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF). It is designed to serve individuals with complex and persistent mental illnesses in a safe, supportive, and least restrictive environment. Located at 9132 S. 92nd Street in Franklin, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Franklin House provides long-term residential care for clients who have transitioned from institutional psychiatric settings to a community-based home. The two-story facility includes a spacious recreation area in the lower level for leisure and therapeutic activities.

Built in 2015, Franklin House sits on 13.1 acres of land, including approximately 3.1 acres of developed support land for the facility and 10 acres of pristine wetlands. These wetlands create a serene, natural backdrop that enhances the therapeutic experience for residents, promoting peace and well-being in a tranquil environment.

The property occupies a prime location along the east side of S. 92nd Street, with additional frontage on St. Martins Road (STH 100) in the east-central portion of the City of Franklin. This setting combines accessibility with privacy, making Franklin House an ideal place for recovery and community integration.
